Meet Dr J
Dr. Sam Jejurikar is a board certified plastic surgeon who is a member of the renowned Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. He specializes in Tummy Tuck (abdominoplasty) and Mommy Makeover Surgery in Dallas, Plano, and Frisco, TX (Texas). He completed his medical training at the University of Michigan Medical School, where, as one of the top students, he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. He stayed at the University of Michigan Medical Center to perform his residency in plastic surgery. After completing his training in plastic surgery, Dr. Jejurikar spent an additional year at the internationally-acclaimed Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, obtaining subspecialty training in aesthetic surgery. He is a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and the Dallas Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has given numerous national presentations and published several book chapters and articles related to his research and clinical interests.
Dr. Jejurikar is unique in that he underwent formal post-graduate training in aesthetic surgery; this is above and beyond the standard training obtained by most plastic surgeons. He completed his fellowship training at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, learning from some of the pioneers of aesthetic surgery and developing innovative techniques for cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. Dr. Jejurikar is exceptionally trained in all aspects of body contouring surgery, and he performs a high volume of Tummy Tuck and Mommy Makeover Surgery. He realizes that all patients are different, but his caring persona, meticulous attention-to-detail, and passion for plastic surgery allow him to craft surgical solutions for his patients’ needs.
Dr. Jejurikar is proud of have been named “One of the Best Doctors in Dallas” for 2012 (According to D Magazine). Best Doctors is an annual peer-review voting process. Local doctors were asked to cast a vote bearing in mind the following question: “Which Dallas doctors would you trust with the care of a loved one?”, and Dr. Jejurikar was honored in the area of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery.
